Perfect ocean view

Image
These beach chairs got their first exposure to the beach.  I think they loved it!!!  I know I did.

sofa table

Image
This is one of the first pieces we ever made.  I used (4) bourbon barrel heads for the top and staves for legs.  I really love how it turned out.

Tray

Image
Not really sure what I am going to do with it yet, but I mounted some bourbon barrel staves together to make a tray.

Coat holder

Image
Another use for a bung hole stave is to make a coat hanger.  Get some DIY coat hooks and mount them to the stave to make a quick and easy coat holder which is easy to mount to any wall.

Underarm couch table

Image
Tried a new build the other day.  I cut a bourbon barrel head in half, took some staves and supports to make an underarm table.

candle holder

Taking  a bung hole stave and drilling holes for tea light candle holders is a neat idea for a project.  I think it turned out pretty well!!

Handmade tiki torches

Image
I found some materials at a local hardware store to convert empty bottles into cool tiki torches.

Bourbon barrel stave beach chair (or fire pit)

Image
I love these chairs.  Perfect for lounging at the beach or just at a backyard fire pit.  They fit together to make it a breeze to take with you anywhere.

Bourbon barrel lid, ring and stave end tables

Image
Working on some variations of end tables.  I have burnt in the state of KY, U of K, U of L and enhanced the stamp on the lid.

Bar stools and table

Image
Finally finished the pair.  One thing I can say about working with this wood is all this hard work (and the smell) make me very thirsty!!!

Bourbon barrel stave bar stool and table

Image
Finished the first bar stool but what good is a bar stool and table if you can't share the experience with a friend??  So, now I have to make another!!
