Bourbon Barrel Table

Image
This is a 3/4 bourbon barrel head table.  This piece is made from a bourbon barrel head, rings and staves.  It is built to sit right next to the corner spot on the couch.  Keep your food, drink, remote or whatever you want close right next to you with this end table.  If you are like me and the Makers Mark logo and barrel parts make you thirsty, I can tell you from experience a nice glass of your favorite bourbon is a nice addition!

Handheld Bourbon Barrel Stave Bottle Opener

Image
This piece is a couple of unrefined handheld bourbon barrel stave bottle openers.  One is chrome and the other in gunmetal.

Live Edge Wood Coasters With Wine Stave Holder

Image
These coasters are made from a high quality hardwood.  The yellow tinting gives it a special and unique look.  To ramp them up a bit, we cut  down a wine barrel stave to use as a holder.

Barrel Stave and Ring Wall Hanging

This is a piece I really love.  This is made from a bourbon barrel ring and stave section.  I really enjoy this creation every time I walk by it.  The one shown above is one of two colors we made in a refined version.  We also have created an unrefined version with raw bourbon barrel materials.  At some point, we will do a wine and bourbon themed modification.  "Home is where the bourbon/wine is".

Half Bourbon Barrel End Table

Image
This is a modification of an earlier piece we made.  If you go back in my posts you will find a modest design similar to this one.  This piece has been enhanced to provide a cleaner look, a better top and a more sturdy design.  There is a sliver of a bourbon barrel head section used as a brace at the bottom of the piece to add support. Gotta love  Makers!!

Halved Bourbon Barrel

Image
This was a really fun project.  I had a client who wanted a bourbon barrel cut in half to be the legs of a live edge wood table top she had purchased.  I cleaned out the excess char in the interior of the piece, re-burned areas which lost all the char and put a couple coats of polyurethane to keep the char from rubbing off on things.

Bourbon Barrel Head Clock

Image
This piece is made from a bourbon barrel head.  What I enjoyed most about creating this piece is the finish.  The high gloss clear coat really pulls out the grain in the wood.  It has a do it yourself clock mechanism and arms installed on a bourbon barrel head.

Bourbon Barrel Head Bottle Stand

Image
I really like this bottle stand.  I got the idea from a stand I purchased overseas.  This is a small section cut from a bourbon barrel head with tapered end to stand on the surface and a bore to hold the bottle.
